Avani
My name is Aavani. After completing my Plus Two, I had no option to continue my studies due to my family’s poor financial background. I felt hopeless and worried about my future. I wanted to study and work, but there seemed to be no way forward. That’s when I heard about the Patient Care Assistance Programme, an initiative by Vincentian Social Services in collaboration with KIMS Hospital. I enrolled in the program, and it truly changed my life. The course provided me with professional training in patient care, a monthly stipend for one year, and after successful completion, I received a certificate from BSS (Bharat Sevak Samaj). The training was hands-on and supportive, helping me gain skills and confidence.Today, I am proudly working at KIMS Hospital, earning a steady income and supporting my family. I feel independent, respected, and hopeful about the future. I am deeply thankful to Vincentian Social Services and KIMS for helping me build a new life.
